The Board of Secondary Education of Andhra Pradesh (BSEAP) also known as Directorate of Government Examination conducts the Senior Secondary Certificate (SSC) exams for the students of Class 10th. Reportedly, around 7,21,345 students appeared for AP board 10th exam 2016. Out of them, 3,36,171 were boys while about 3,85,174 were girl candidates. About 90.15% of the boys and 91.75% girls passed the Andhra SSC exam in 2016. The overall AP SSC pass percentage for 2016 was 91.42%. For the private candidates, the overall pass percentage was 93.26%. The AP 10th results for 2017 are expected to be better than last year.
