MGIMS ADMISSION NOTICE: PMT 2014-15 Application Form at www.mgims.ac.in: Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences has issued Admission Notice: PMT 2014-2015 by inviting applications on prescribed form for admission to MBBS course for academic year 2014-15. Eligible candidates may apply for this on or be last date.  The candidates shall be selected as per their merit in the Entrance Examination conducted by Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences (MGIMS).

Those students who are going to appear in 10+2 Higher Secondary Board Examination in March / April 2014 are also eligible to appear in MGIMS MBBS Entrance Examination.

About MGIMS MBBS Entrance exam 2014:
In the entrance examination the paper of physics, chemistry and biology will have multiple choice questions, while that on gandhian thought will be of long and short answer type. The MGIMS Entrance exam will be Held on 20th April 2014 at the following examination centres Nagpur, Delhi, Hyderabad Mumbai, Varanasi & Kolkata.

DISTRIBUTION OF SEATS

1. Maharashtra: 46 Seats
2. Non-Maharashtra: 46 Seats
3. Seats earmarked for the “Central Pool Scheme” for Government of India: 4 Seats
4. GOVT. OF MAHARASHTRA: 2 Seats 
5. KASTURBA HEALTH SOCIETY: 2 Seats 

Total 100 Seats are available which are distributed as above given.



MGIMS MBBS Entrance exam 2014 Application Form:
The Prospectus and Application Form with syllabus, question papers of Gandhian thought for the last 6 years, with model question papers of Physics Chemistry and Biology can be had by Paying a sum of Rs 4000 (including exam fee).

MGIMS Entrance exam 2014 Important dates:

1. Starting date for Prospectus and Application: 20th December, 2013
2. Closing date for Prospectus and Application: 8th March, 2014. 
3. The last date of receipt of filled up application is 20th March, 2014.
4. Date of MGIMS Entrance Exam: 20th April 2014

ELIGIBILITY
Age limit: Must attain 17 years of age on or before 31st December of the year of admission.
Qualification: 12th standard examination under 10+2 system with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology individually in each subject in first attempt with at least 50 % marks (40 percent in the case of SC/ ST/ VJ/ NT/ OBC) taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
