History Of India Railway:
Industry Railways which was founded on April 16, 1853 and it's Headquarters are located in New Delhi, India. The Indian Railways which serves allover India. It is providing the following Services Passenger railways, Freight services, Parcel carrier, Catering and Tourism Services, Parking lot operations and Other related services

The Indian Railways is 100% owned by Government of India. More than 1.3 million Employees (2012) are working in Indian Railways. The Parent company is Ministry of Railways through Railway Board (India). There are 17 Divisions of Railway Zones.

List of Indian Railways Production units

Golden Rock Railway Workshop (GOC) was established in year of 1928 at Trichy. The Main products of GOC is Diesel-electric Locomotives.

Chittaranjan Locomotive Works (CLW) was founded in 1947 in Chittaranjan, Asansol. It's main production is Electric Locomotives.

Diesel Locomotive Works  (DLW) was started in 1961. DLW located at Varanasi and it's main products are Diesel Locomotives.

Diesel-Loco Modernisation Works  (DMW) established in 1981 and it is located at Patiala. DMW's main production is Diesel-electric Locomotives.

Integral Coach Factory (ICF) established in year of 1952. It is placed in Chennai. Main products of ICF is Passenger coaches.

Rail Coach Factory  (RCF) started in the year of 1986 at Kapurthala. Main producation of RCF is Passenger coaches.

Rail Spring Karkhana (RSK) is one of the Production units of Indian railways was established in 1988 at Gwalior. RSK's main production is Passenger coach springs.

Rail Wheel Factory (RWF) was started in 1984 at Bangalore. RWF produce Railway wheels and axles.

Rail Wheel Factory (RWF) was founded in 2012 at Chhapra. It produce Railway wheels.

Rail Coach Factory, Raebareli (RCF) was established in 2012. RCF is located at Raebareli and it's main producation is Passenger coaches.
