Bharathidasan University MA, MPA, MCA, MBA, MSc, M.Tech Diploma, PG Diploma, Integrated Programmes Exam 2013 :- Bharathidasan University was founded in the year 1982 located at Mathur, Mandaiyur, Thiruchupalli in the state of Tamil Nadu. Bharathidasan University was named after the great revolutionary Tamil Poet, Bharathidasan (1891-1968). The Campus of Bharathidasan University is sprawling area of over 500 acres of land in Tiruchirappalli-Pudukkottai highway (NH 210). Bharathidasan University also has a good library and sports facility. Bharathidasan University offers a fairly wide range of study programmes. 40 PG programmes are offered by Bharathidasan University those includes M.A., M.Sc. and M.Tech, 31 M.Phil, 33 Ph.D., 19 P.G. Diploma, 11 Diploma and 10 Certificate programmes. There are 123 colleges affiliated to the University including 120 Arts and Science Colleges and 3 Colleges of Fine Arts and there are totally 55 UG programmes and 62 PG programmes conducted in the affiliated colleges and the total strength of the students studying in the affiliated colleges is 1,14,276. More than 50% are offering PG programmes and 25% are offering M.Phil./Ph.D. programmes. Bharathidasan University, A good number of them are nationally recognized for quality education. The programmes offered through affiliated colleges are so diversified that they number more than 250.
